Reverb

Add Reverb on the Services screen to run a Laravel Reverb server for all your sites. DevKit installs it into its own folder (it doesn’t touch your projects) and serves it at wss://reverb.test, with HTTPS from DevKit’s certificate authority.

Add to site writes the connection into a site’s .env:

BROADCAST_CONNECTION=reverb
REVERB_APP_ID=…
REVERB_APP_KEY=…
REVERB_APP_SECRET=…
REVERB_HOST=127.0.0.1
REVERB_PORT=8080
REVERB_SCHEME=http
VITE_REVERB_APP_KEY="${REVERB_APP_KEY}"
VITE_REVERB_HOST=reverb.test
VITE_REVERB_PORT=443
VITE_REVERB_SCHEME=https

Your app broadcasts straight to Reverb on 127.0.0.1, and browsers connect through wss://reverb.test with DevKit’s certificate; the VITE_REVERB_* lines are what Laravel Echo reads.

Then install broadcasting in your app as usual (php artisan install:broadcasting). Reverb’s output is in Logs.
