Remove DevKit
Remove the system changes
Section titled “Remove the system changes”Settings › Remove › Remove system changes… undoes exactly what setup did. You’ll be asked for your Mac password once. It:
- removes
/Library/LaunchDaemons/app.getdevkit.daemon.plistand frees ports 80 and 443 - removes
/etc/resolver/test - removes the DevKit certificate authority from your login keychain
Your projects, databases and downloaded runtimes stay where they are.
Delete everything
Section titled “Delete everything”After removing the system changes:
- Quit DevKit and move it from Applications to the Trash.
- Delete DevKit’s data folder, which holds runtimes, service data, certificates and settings:
~/Library/Application Support/DevKit. This deletes your DevKit databases too, so back up anything you need first. - If you turned on Use DevKit’s php and composer in new terminal windows, remove the block marked “DevKit” from
~/.zshrc(or turn the switch off before you delete the app). - If you connected your own sharing domain, choose Disconnect in Settings › Sharing first, or delete the
devkit-…tunnel in your Cloudflare dashboard.
